High modulus Construction PU Sealant is single part polyurethane based, high/middle modulus sealant, which cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form elastomeric mastic, has excellent adhesion on all cement based materials, brick ceramics, polyurethane, epoxy, most polyesters, most metals and most timbers.

Safety precaution

Wash hands after use.

Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of frost, grease, dust and other contaminants. To obtain maximum adhesion, surfaces should be flat to provide adequate contact. Painted surfaces must be well cured and free of loose paint. Sand glossy surfaces to a dull finish. Pre-fit all materials before applying adhesive. Cut the tip off the cartridge and screw the nozzle, then apply with silicone gun.

Application

Ensure surfaces are dry and free from oil, grease and dust.

Carefully pierce seal at end of metal tube with reverse end of cap, Attach nozzle to tube and cut to desired opening.

Apply bead along length of joist, stud or batten, on broad flat surfaces apply beads every 40cm.

Bring surfaces together as soon as possible(within the first 10mins)

Fix with sufficient nails, screws or clamping to hold load and achieve contact over the total bond area.

After use, remove nozzle and replace cap.

Allow adhesive to set(min.24 hours) before removing any temporary fastenersor clamping. Use with mechanical fasteners in high stress applications.

Effect

Strong adhesive property to most material, after applying, it can bond the parts very strong, it is non-corrosion, and long life.
