Splendor General Purpose Acetoxy Silicone Sealant is a fast curing one part anti-fungi silicone sealant, which cures with atmospheric moisture to form a high strength rubber seal with excellent adhesion to glass, glazed surfaces, metals, most plastics, tiles, wood, concrete and other building materials. It has excellent physical properties which are designed to give outstanding durability and performance.
Where to use Widely used for Glass/Glass They are widely used in industry, building, automotive, packaging, and business, advertisement, and family decoration. They are mainly used in joints adhesion and seal among the glass, tiles, ceramics, aluminum, and fiber glass, power-coated and non-oily wood.

Preparation Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of frost, grease, dust and other contaminants. To obtain maximum adhesion, surfaces should be flat to provide adequate contact. Painted surfaces must be well cured and free of loose paint. Sand glossy surfaces to a dull finish. Pre-fit all materials before applying adhesive. Cut the tip off the cartridge and screw the nozzle, then apply with silicone gun.
Application Apply sealant with steady pressure, forcing the sealant into the joint. Smooth bead immediately with a wet finger or a tool. Remove masking tape immediately after tooling and wipe excess off of hands and tools. Sealant is paintable within 2 hours depending on temperature and humidity. Allow at least 24 hours before exposing to water. Periodically clean cured sealant with non-abrasive cleaner for best appearance. Note: The clear product will extrude white and will turn clear as it dries.
Effect Strong adhesive property to all kinds glass and most construction material, after applying, it can bond the parts very strong, and it is weatherproof, waterproof in some extent. |
